Here's the new contest. And as you can see, yes finally it's the Saleen S7. This is the best pic I could find in 1600*1200. I know a lot of people wanted it so I expect a lot of entries.

Entries have to be mailed to [email protected] before friday, 26 Januari 10 PM. Take your time and put some work into it. Entries have to have a resolution of at least 1024*768. (they will be resized to 1024*768 if they are larger)

The entries of previous contests can be found over here:

    Good luck all

PS: If you've got an idea for a car/picture for one of the next contests, please PM me and I'll see what I can do.

  2. I hate to be picky, but I'm not sure I like using a photo that's over-exposed. I mean, it'll work, but it means all the entries will be somewhat flawed from the start. If no one agrees with me, we can use it, it just seems odd.

Thanks again for doing this though.

  3. Here are a couple somewhat similar photos, maybe one of these'll work.

  4. Well I checked all possible mediapics but to be honnest they all suck <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

The red/orange one has a very weird angle and the yellow one wont be easy for color changes with the reflections. I understand your point though. I picked the silver one because it seems to have the best quality and angle.

  5. Looking at the yellow one again, it looks like there was already a color change done to it. I wouldn't be surprise if it started out silver. And yeah, they do all kind of suck.

  6. just found this one, not as big but it has potential.

  7. Hmm... I don't like that the rear is blurred. This sucks... This one might not be bad if I could find it in higher res and quality.

  9. this one is good but a strange angle, what do you think?

  10. I almost posted that one as well. I can work with any angle. I'm more concerned with things like noisy/blurry/over-exposed/etc photos. Like I said, your call. I'm fine with whatever. I thought it'd be easier to find a good photo.

  11. Well the one I originaly wanted to use might give some problems so I'll take the blue one. It's large and clear so should work perfect. And yes I dont understand why there aren't more decent Saleen S7 pics.

Edit: I changed my mind again because the blue one is a bit oversaturated too. I'm gonna stick with my original choice because of the angle and quality.

  14. I guess I'm in. At first it seemed hopeless because the S7 is such an ugly car... But then again that means it has potential for looking better.

  15. Cool <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> Just thought I'd throw that up there.

  16. i will see if i have time but my question is what pic are we doing? the first?

  17. Yes.

  19. i will see if i have time.

  20. I looked at these and I was like... "whoa, i have all those..."

Check my galleries if you want more saleen pics.

  21. dude your avatar rocks.

  22. Started working on mine tonight. This, like the Europa, is going to take a hell of alot of work.

EDIT: I also just noticed something that is sure to be a problem for most all entrants.

  23. So... anyone else start on theirs? Just curious how many people are actually going to be entering.

  24. I've started, but I haven't really progressed a lot. What an annoying car.
