Re: I need some help, Any suggestions?

  1. Personally, I like the Modena in black. It gives it a cool night look; and the way the red lights in the back go with a black exterior is very nice. Or, you could go with a Maroon color. I've seen Diablo's in Maroon that look excelent, and the Modena I think would also fit that color very nicely. I think I agree that the red color that it comes in is a llittle too plain. I don't know much about modifying the performance of a Modena. 1/4 miles in 12.7 seconds, and 0-100 mph in 9.8 seconds is fast enough for me.

By the way, this is perhaps off the topic, but LamboOwner, how much hp did your '98 Diablo come stock with, and did it have VVT? I thought it was 530 hp like the '99 models, but then I thought I heard that the SV was the only Diablo with 530 hp in '98, and the 2WD and VT hadn't been updated yet. Thanks.

  2. man u guys r so lucky, i would kill for this car.
anyway dont really know how u can increase the performance, though i think 400hp is plenty!
i think ferraris should be red, but i also think the metallic blue is VERY nice...

  3. i wanna know if any of u really own the cars u say u do??
coz i've got a complete bomb.....

It's a Holden VK..... (I'm in Australia.... Holden's are sold in Australia.... they're made by GM)

any way that's all i gotta ask....

If you really own one of these, and your having problems with colour, you can buy paint that looks black from striaght on, but changes colour as you look at it from different angles. It's really expensive but since you own a 150,000$ car, i think it's a good investment.

It's called ChromoFlare and yes it's very cool, Pick two colors you like, say Red and Blue as an example and then when you look at your cars at certain angles you see the Red or the Blue and when the sun shines off of it you see Puprle... Check out http://www.motorcities.com/index_sports_car.html and look on the left hand side they have some good pictures of the different colors of the Mondena 360...

I would go with the metal Grey and chromoflare it with a blue color

    here's a pic of it...

  5. I need some help, Any suggestions?

Hey guys, this is my very first post here, how is everyone?
Anyway, I own a 2000 Modena F1 and I love the car to death, I have never driven a better car, I like it even more than my CL600, but I want your suggestions on what is the best way to make her go faster, I'm willing to do anything within reason. Also I'm thinking of Changing the color (it's red). What do you guys think?

Well if you ask me the best place to get your ferrari tuned would be koenig. www.koenig-specials.com i personally have a 360 modena f1 and mine is yellow, its a great colour if you want to stand out from the pack. i have also looked into tuning my car with koenig however there is the hassle of sending it over to germany (as i am aware)

another option is hamann whos body kits look beter than the koenigs but have less power

both models are on the suercars.net site.

  7. Sell the mondena ,then buy a Z06 and upgrade it???I dont think any Ferrari guy will do it.......

    I can help

1st off . . . . . get rid of it for like 150 thousand dollars. Then buy yourself a 2002 Corvette Z06(for only 50,000 dollars!. The 2002 Corvette Z06 has same handling as the 360 modena(Both of em pull a 1.0G on the skidpad) it has a way quicker acceleration from the 0-60 (3.9 Z06, 4.4 Modena) and on the 1/4 mile (12.3 Z06, 12.9 Modena) Once you got your "rare" stock Z06 now we can talk about modifying it

Just by adding a "Vortech" supercharger we will be talking about 575 HP! That means a 1/4 mile around a 9.7 seconds. Not to shabby I can go in detail but I will be wasting my time cuz I KNOW you guys will flush me with negative remarks :(

The 2002 Pontiac Trans Am "Firehawk" has a pounding 345 Horse Power. From that you rip a 0-60 in 4.7 Seconds! Coast through the 1/4 mile in a good 12.9 Seconds(Same as the 395 HP Modena)!. Pulls a .91G on the skidpad . . . not to shabby there. The cost for the Firehawk will be around 35,000 US dollars. The Firehawks are very rare. You can supercharge one and you will be ripping the 1/4 mile around 10 seconds. Not to bad there

Unless you are "stinkin" rich like Bill Gates. Im sure it will be very expensive to "Modify" a Ferrari. Other wise you can get yourself a Z06 and modify it easily. Same with the Firehawk.

So if you guys stop in a red light with your "Cool" Ferrari and a Z06 or a Firehawk pulls next to you . . . you guys better be prepared to be ashamed cuz you guys just got burned by a "cheap" american car

  8. I'm not gonna flush you down with negative remarks, you seem like a good person, But I think I'll keep my Modena, if you owned one you'll know why!
Anyway, any suggestions on changing the color? Whenever I see one it's either red or yellow.
