Re: This vs Ferrari F50

  1. ok, you say the 800tt would be faster around a track than a F50, then you say the viper would be a little bit behind the F50?

    Look to say which one would win on a track (800 vs. F50GT) it basically comes down to which one would hold better in a corner, the 800 can out brake the F50 into the corner, and accelerate out of the corner faster, and have the advantage on any part of the track that did't have any corners (straights). so IMO, i would say the viper COULD win on the track.

  2. i think it would just come down to how the track is set up if it is a slow curved track with few straits the GT will have a good chance but if it is a high speed track with lots of straits and straits right out the corners then the TT would have a much better chance.

  3. You don't seem to read my posts, or you just overlook them:

    'Look to say which one would win on a track (800 vs. F50GT) it basically comes down to which one would hold better in a corner, the 800 can out brake the F50 into the corner, and accelerate out of the corner faster, and have the advantage on any part of the track that did't have any corners (straights). so IMO, i would say the viper COULD win on the track. Thus, even if the track was a 'slow curved track whith few straights' the viper would still have a chance, considering it could 'out brake the F50 into the corner, and accelerate out of the corner faster'.

  4. if it is a slow track that woudlnt matter much since the cars wouldnt be coming into the corners at a relatively low speed the braking advantage wouldnt seem much of a difference for the TT and the accleration would still seem useless if the tt if the straits werent long enough as i said it depends on the track we would really have to get into specific details overall on the avg track the tt wouldnt indeed have the edge b/c of the long straits found on most tracks but there are the odd few with nothing but corners.

  5. Still, the cars would have to be braking and accelerating to get around the track, and the 800tt has that advantage.

  6. I'll say the same thing I said in the 800TT vs McLaren F1 forum.

    The 800TT sucks.

    Because in the end, no matter what happens on the track or the strip, you in your 800TT (You wish) and me in my F50 (I wish), I drive away with a Ferrari, and you with a Dodge.

    Eat it.

  7. Well, looking at the stats. i've posted in both threads for both cars, Me in my 800TT(i wish) will be driving away faster.

  8. it does but on a lot of tracks the edge isnt significant enough to make a difference.

  9. so this thread comes down to:
    drag= 800tt
    track= either

  10. And you were an idiot when you said it earlier too, I hope you feel special.

  11. precicely b/c no matter where u do a drag strip is a drag stip a track simply has way to many varialbes

  12. Or it comes down to that b/c when you look at the times for the cars, the 800TT wins in a 1/4mile.

    And b/c, maybe i made one heak of an argument that the 800TT could have a chance on a track against a F50. Thus the "track = either" part.

  13. Yeah man, it's all about Dodge!!

    Dodge represent a history of raw power and muscle, that has nothing to do with Ferrari.

    Furthermore, who is stupid enough anyway to compare a mid-engine-ultra-expensive car with an affordable-front-engine-car that could smoke any Ferrari ????

  14. Iv'e seen a supra with an SR20 motor that went twice as hard as a straight six so get #$%#ed

  15. Thats a stupid ass question the viper numbnuts

  16. "Furthermore, who is stupid enough anyway to compare a mid-engine-ultra-expensive car with an affordable-front-engine-car that could smoke any Ferrari ????"

    Bluey is, considering he's the one who started this thread. :p

  17. yeah well, it's so obvious the you can't compare the two cars, don't you think?

  18. Well, when i compare two cars, i basically only compare thier performance on a track and drag strip, and if you look at the numbers i know i posted on this thread, you'll see that on street tires the numbers of both cars are close.

    Now, take the "this car is not the best" thread, YOU SAY COMPARING AN F50 TO A 800TT IS BAD WELL LOOK WHAT BMWM3GTR200 IS DOING, HE'S COMPARING IT TO MODEL T'S AND VOLVO WAGONS?

    IMO, that's absurd.

  19. Yeah you're right!

    BMWM3GTR200 uses some very strange and "far-out" arguments to prove a point.

  20. in the Toyota AB-Flug Forum we argue about feedin' Koalas and other Australian Animals bananas, is that out of the ordanary!

  21. Yeah, that is kinda weird to argue about something like that in a car forum.

  22. *sigh* in a straight line, the viper would probably have an edge, but in REAL racing, which is on a racetrack, the ferrari would be so much faster than the viper, it would be like comparing an F1 car to an NSX

  23. What makes you guys think the 800TT is only good in a straight line?

  24. Are you aware of that you just made an ass out of yourself?
