Who can give me some more info on this thing: The ZR12!
From what I've gathered so far, this thing has got a V12 in it!<!-- Signature -->

  3. here you have some:
    ENGINE

    Power: 686 hp
    Torque: 680 lb-ft
    Bore/Stroke: n/a
    POWERTRAIN
    Layout: front engine, rear drive
    Gearbox: n/a
    Tires: n/a

    Lenght: n/a
    Width: n/a
    Height: n/a
    Wheelbase: n/a

    Weight-Ratio: n/a
    Performance
    Top-Speed: 339 km/h, 211 mph
    0-60 mph: 3.9 s
    0-100 mph: 7.4 s
    General
    Price: not for sale
    Units built: 1
    Production Time: 1992

  4. 0-60 in 3.9 .. dont ya think thats sucky for a v12.. and to have that much HP...... thats slow for that much hp

  5. did you see the top speed and I think you can't walk faster then that car so shut up it's fast <!-- Signature -->

  6. dodge punk is right this car blows dogs for quarters<!-- Signature -->

  7. 3.9 sec 0-60 is slow? Are you like retarded or something? That's as fast as the McLaren, which is also a V-12 and costs 1 million dollars. I don't know of any other car with a V-12 that goes that fast, even the new Murcielago by Lamborghini only has 571 hp and goes from 0-60 in 4.3 sec.

I think someone is high or something.<!-- Signature -->

Yeah, that is pretty bad stats for a V12 with that much power. Too bad this Vette only had a LT5 V8 which at the most put out (in stock form) 405horsepower/400 torque. That is equivalent to the 2002 Corvette Z06. The only special thing about this car was that it was DOHC and not push rod like all the other Vettes. btw, no Vette production Vette has recieved a V12.

  9. Have you fellas calling 0-60 in 3.9 seconds slow actually ever done faster? or even the equivalent? cause I have the feeling if you did you'd be having enough fun.<!-- Signature -->

686 hp is a lot of power to convert to the pavement. Even with drag slicks, its hard to get an accurate 0-60 time because of tire spin. They had the same problem with the Lingenfelter 650. So just because the 0-60 time is "sucky???" it may not be entirely accurate. and 211 mph is by no means slow. Do you have any idea how freaking scary 200 mph on the ground is???

  11. ummmmm...........the sledgehammer corvette does 0-60 in 3.9 and is .1 second faster in the 1/4 mile then the 800TT viper which does the 0-60 in 2.4 so i dont think really matters to much when it comes to corvette

PS if anyone finds out what the 0-60 time on the 427 twin turbo corvette is please tell me

  12. hmm i don't think it would be quiker and does the 1/4 mile if a viper can do it in 2.4 sec and the vette 3.9

  13. You're drunk. You're obviously some 13 year old kid who watched Fast And The Furious and thinks you know everything about cars now. 3.9 is phoenominal and for you information, not all V12' have to be super fast. Ever hear of Jaguar's V12 unit back in the day? Oh wait, you weren't born yet. Get a life and put in your 2 cents when you actually have a clue what you're commenting on.

Porsche has a 6cyl that will smoke that crap-vette, and the Porsche does it in style....and the porsche is reliable....and the porsche has better handling....face it, vettes just can't keep up with imports...<!-- Signature -->

  15. a stock 2001 porsche 911 turbo is .1 sec slower than a stock 2002 zo6 in the 0-60 and that gap only widens as the race goes on. Read car and drivers "Supertuner Challenge" (The Stockers put on a great show). And oh yea the Porsche is helluva lot more expensive

Suck it you expensive bastard<!-- Signature -->

Moron, Porsches are an excellent enginering company who have been making sports cars since they were founded, Chevy havn't, Porsches also aren't IN the class of Corvettes anyway! They go out and kick Ferrari ass. Musclecars have been competing against each other for ages(corvette,mustang,trans-am,camaro & vipers[although they ain't as old as camaros and corvettes]). Musclecars have always been more competetive against eash other not against a German manufacturer that is devoted to sports cars!<!-- Signature -->

  19. I believe it was an American Car, not a German, or British or whatever the hell you want, that was dubbed, "The Fastest Street-Legal car in the World." Yup, The Hennessey Venom 800tt, 0-60 in 2.4, 1.05 on the skidpad, 237 mph on a runway that was way too short, and a 10 sec 1/4 mile IN THE GOD-DAMN RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you Euros can kiss Americas ass on this one, numbers dont lie people.<!-- Signature -->

  20. accualy the fastest "street legal car" is the 1988 sledgehammer corvette, not a viper, they have it on the site, check it out.

  21. Turboporsche is on crack, Porsches reliable? Do you own one? If you don't than keep your mouth shut.<!-- Signature -->

  23. you are refering to the zr12. but if it has been produced it would never sell because the v8 is the heart of every american car.

  24. a porsche is a great car dont get me rong but reliable?...no...u need to keep those cars running with a fine tooth comb or alot can go wrong really fast ...quite alot of maintainance.....arent the sledgehammer vette, the lingenfelter, and the porsche GT2 the 3 fastest street legal cars????

  25. I wonder where the hell did you get that 4.3 sec 0-60 from a murcielago. many mags have tested it and driven it and they got 0-60 in 3.8 or 3.6 seconds.
