  2. Re: Redline 17000!

this is normal for an F1.<!-- Signature -->
  3. Re: Redline 17000!

we really dont care since this is pretty much normal for a race car of this sort

Probably a bit less. But this is normal for an F1 car<!-- Signature -->

maybe the reason for posts like this is that people dont get more rights until they have 50 posts.

More rights after 50 posts? I guess you move from new member to Member, but what kind of new rights will we get?

And how do people like Richard Owen and a few others have around 10 or 12 thousand posts. I know Owen is the manager or creater of this site, but that sure is a huge number. Is that around one post for every car on

Vader and Skyline say the same thing. That's probably a better example of creating more post to change your ranking. Frankly, post count means nothing except that you have extensive free time.
  16. Re: Redline 17000!

    blank post

  20. Re: Redline 17000!

ok... i'm gonna stop.. hahahhahahahah this number of post thing is so retarded. I wonder if people actually do this for real. So they can get more than 15000 posts and then take over this site and rule the world.

The previous posts were meant as a joke but if you still want to flame go ahead. Flaming is something that can't be stopped no matter how good the cookie tastes.
  21. Re: Redline 17000!

I thought it was pretty funny. Just thought I'd let you know that.

17000 is definitely believable. When i used to really be into F1, 14k was about the top. Being a couple years ago, I'm not really surprised they can top out at 17 or 18.<!-- Signature -->
  22. Re: Redline 17000!

Isnt there that rule whre you can't create new topics on the main forums until you hit 50 posts..or something alone those lines?<!-- Signature -->
  23. Re: Redline 17000!

Thats lame Williams Redlines at 18500 in Qualifying, Ferrari and porb McLaren are close.<!-- Signature -->
  24. Re: Redline 17000!

F1 cars could go higher than 18k... but they would blow more engines than they already do.<!-- Signature -->
  25. Re: Redline 17000!

Telemtry from the BMW engines in the Williams has shown the revs to get up to 19,200. Ferrari is probably a few hundred lower with Mercedes slightly behind them. Honda's revs probably top out just over 18,000 since they have horrible reliability. The engine with the lowest numbers is probably the Asiatech since it's based on a design that's about three years old. But anyway...17,000 is probably conservative on the Honda engine numbers
