  1. So I was: lets trade vehicles, guess what it is?!

    Awesome! Congrats!

    I'm jelly.

What was great about the FJ is that if I needed to climb a mountain, or cross a stream, or go through 16" of snow I could. What wasn't great about the FJ was absolutely everything else. Difficult to see out of, not much cargo space, no power at all, terrible ride, the rear seats were spacious but impossible to access. Plus, I'm pretty sure it was going to need a clutch and some a/c work pretty soon.

Look what 4 hours of 89 mph avg speed did to my front bumper :C

  6. can you actually drive that when you go to clients or do you have to take a company car?

  7. Most people wouldn't know an M5 from a 525i M Sport. Nothing weird about a 5-series.

  8. No company car here, just get reimbursed for mileage, currently at 57.5 cents per mile.

  9. yeah but if people know what it is, it can come across as a bit posh.

  10. eh not much of a downside to your accountant looking successful , or good with money.

  11. dude just bought a nice car
don't remind him about 70's GM trash

  12. Pffhhh

    If someone has a 525, I think he/she's boring

Not the case with an M5

  13. Well that's their problem, not his.

  14. yeah why does it care the car you are driving?

I don't give a shit if you drive a tercel or an M5. Everybody has dozens different reasons why they are driving either.

  15. must be a dutch thing. if you drive a flashy car here, people think you're a hot shot, not trustworthy, think you overcharge them. not something you want if you go to customers.

  16. I think Moo has mentioned that a few times, that's just dutchy culture I suppose.

  17. The better to distance himself from low rent people such as yourself.

Stock exhaust with cutouts could be pretty kickass, too.

  19. If / when I do anything to this car, there won't be any shortcuts. Need to take a shot under the car to show you guys the stock exhaust, four huge mufflers, couple resonators, cats, there's just a ton going on under there. Most of the aftermarket header back systems say they save 50-70 lbs, absolutely believe it too.

  20. Well aren't you a nasty little ****

  21. I don't really consider them shortcuts. I like the idea of going from sedate sedan Toto screaming monster in a few seconds.

  22. Confirm your request, sir. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  23. You're still in the PNW, right? Next time you visit your folks we should get together for a photoshoot <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  24. Yup. I'll bring my mom's Outback lol

  25. I'd say wait to see the maintenance costs before talking about tuning, even thought I'm sure your are LOADED.
