A rear spoiler would help stability at speed over 100km/h.<!-- Signature -->

Some people don't understand the finer points of Physics.

Does it help high speed stability? Maybe just a little.

Is it Necessary? Not at all. A Civic could reach its top speed without ever being unstable, and without a wing of any sort. The Wing also induces drag, limiting top speed. If you're trying to make your Civic or Integra faster, sacrificing high end speed isn't going to be on your "to do" list.

Maybe if you mod it sufficiently that you're breaking the 200mph barrier, then it becomes necessary<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

hahahaha......doesnt help at high speed, yeah, keep driving the way u do and u will never have to worry about it........hope u get the full extent of sarcasm in this.
sigh.... ignorance is bliss.....cant belive the thread starter is a "guru", must waste alot of time.

i could link u 2 a thread on another web board, but i am afraid it will get too complicated for u. lots of facts, figures, formulas and numbers.

the wing also turns out to be a great help in breaking and cornering at speed. geuss the mullet mobiles dont do that so they wouldnt really know anyway what i am tlaking about.

if u flamed out at APcrap and other companys like that for making the wings they do that would be great and would help us all, but instead u provide another blotch to the name of the car enthusiast.
