Not for me (I need my 45mpg for the daily 60mi round trip commute), for my gf. 2010 Legacy 2.5i Premium and CVT. First time I've driven anything with a CVT, eeeenteresting.
It's pretty sweet, and we got a pretty good deal on it; about $1700 less than MSRP and they gave us good money for her old Sonata.
Congrats sir!<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> This summer, maybe, just maybe: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/R-T-with-27M-Package-Heritage-Chrome-Wheels-B5-BLUE_W0QQitemZ230415886147QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item35a5db6743
At least, I'll die in style.<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>
Haha. If she didn't pick up this Legacy I was probably gonna get a new Golf TDI, The Challengers look nice, but I think if/when I get another performance car it'll just be a weekend car and be something like a early 70s 911T or 912...
It's either that on an Impreza, which would've only been about $2500 cheaper, has the old school 4-speed auto (which is rated at 3mpg city and 5mpg highway less), and wouldn't hold value as well.
Though I know it's not what you're hinting at, huge. She had an '05 Sonata that we traded in and I rode up in the back of it hunched over most of the way because I was too tall for it. The Legacy? I can sit up, stretch out, do just about whatever I want. So super comfy.
Enough room on the back seat for "you-know-what!!"<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>
oh good god I hope not, we don't have more than 5 subarus on the street here so I dunno, but I sure hope that this won't be the new legacy :-O
Thats an pretty average size car. Plus he lives in West Virginia. You can't drive gutless 4 bangers in the mountains
