So I was: Let's get a new car for Christmas

Discussion in 'General Chat' started by sixspeedfirebird, Dec 24, 2009.

  1. Not for me (I need my 45mpg for the daily 60mi round trip commute), for my gf.

2010 Legacy 2.5i Premium and CVT. First time I've driven anything with a CVT, eeeenteresting.

  2. Thoses Legacy are really freakin' nice.

  3. It's pretty sweet, and we got a pretty good deal on it; about $1700 less than MSRP and they gave us good money for her old Sonata.

  4. Do you feel the Subaru love to drive like a douchebag?

Haha. If she didn't pick up this Legacy I was probably gonna get a new Golf TDI, :p

The Challengers look nice, but I think if/when I get another performance car it'll just be a weekend car and be something like a early 70s 911T or 912...

  9. nice ride

the subie, not the challenger. Challengers are #$%#ing terrible

  10. Impaled by the steering column after you shit your pants, you call that style?

  11.
  12. why do american subarus look so weird?

  13. It's a redesign for this year, maybe the Euros don't have this one yet?

  14. why did she get something so large?

  15. It's either that on an Impreza, which would've only been about $2500 cheaper, has the old school 4-speed auto (which is rated at 3mpg city and 5mpg highway less), and wouldn't hold value as well.

  16. How big is the rear seat?

    The girlfriend #$%#ing owes you.

  17. Though I know it's not what you're hinting at, huge. She had an '05 Sonata that we traded in and I rode up in the back of it hunched over most of the way because I was too tall for it. The Legacy? I can sit up, stretch out, do just about whatever I want. So super comfy.

  18. Enough room on the back seat for "you-know-what!!"<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  19. oh good god I hope not, we don't have more than 5 subarus on the street here so I dunno, but I sure hope that this won't be the new legacy :-O

  20. Very nice. My dad just got a new Outback. Quality cars.

  21. fair enough.

  22. Thats an pretty average size car.

Plus he lives in West Virginia. You can't drive gutless 4 bangers in the mountains

  23. Size queen.

  24. what, 1700 off msrp is not that great of a deal

  25. lol

    lol

    lol
