If you understand how a rotary engine works, you'd s#@t yur pants cuz pistons don't stand a chance. Even if one o' dem cars could come close, they've got 3 rotor and 4 rotor engines. I just pray for the day when I can get a 4 rotor engine from some suspicious looking japanese guy. RX7 fur life!

Re: these cars are the best for there catagorie i have a mazda rx-7 1995 sp which is a special edition only brought out in australia. Hardly any where made and they are realy sweet. Changes from the stock rx-7 are that it has it's own custom body kit, 18 inch rims, engine mods whith carbon fibre conponents and so on. Now take it from me these cars are good and for all u #%$s out there that don't like jap cars are #$%#ed up. These cars would burn your gay mustangs off anyday. australia perth wa

I NEED SOME HELP!!! im thinking of getting a 1993 rx7 but dont know how to mantain the car becouse iv heard youd need to know the basics of the rx7,but i know nothing about them so chould some one help.
Re: I NEED SOME HELP!!! rxSEVEN, I could be wrong, but I do get a feeling that what you like about this car is nothing more than its looks. (As I already said, I could be wrong) What I would suggest you to do is to learn about the mechanism of the rotary engine (a.k.a. Wankel engine) and also get some informations from RX-7 owner forums. This car is fast, its turns are fantastic, and the looks are amazing, but this is also the only pure rotary rocket on the planet. Please remember that. =D
Re: This is a #$%#ing sweet car!!!! This guy here has a point! Stock, the RX-7 is a marvelous creation. I can't stress that enough. Now I don't claim to be a car God or anything, or claim to know more than any one of you, but most seem to feel the same way anyhow. If I had $20K, I would invest that so quickly into an RX-7, because performance wise, it's so worth it, I can't think of anything to compare price wise. Plus, in *MY* opinion, the looks are so beautiful.
Re: This is a #$%#ing sweet car!!!! This car didnt cost 20,000. more like mid 30's. I love American cars and I love Import's to a degree. The RX-7 is fast this is very true. However a stock 2003 MACH 1 mustang would hang with it on the Qtr mile. they run 13.3 - 13.6. The cobra if you read Fast Fords mags has been capable of 12.8 - 13.3. Both these cars are faster. Now to say they'll beat it on the track? well who knows. But yea the MACH 1 costs less. and the New Cobra cost the same as a New RX-7. And who ever said something about a 2002 Cobra needs to go back to school. There was no 2002 Cobra. And to help u out ahead of time there wont be a 2005 Cobra only the GT. At 25,000 bucks and a predicted Qtr time of 13.5. That beats the RX-7. With all this said i Love the RX-7. I sat in one yesterday lol in a Foreign auto repair shop that was closed has one sitting outside and it was unlocked lol so i sat in it. Was a dream like God holding you in the seat. I'm looking to get an RX-7 since i totaled my stang too. Re: This is a #$%#ing sweet car!!!! i got an 1993 rx7 with 663hp! and i was street racin the other day and this dude pulled up in a viper and wanted to race i was hesitant at first but then i got brave i thought i was goin to lose my ass and i wasted his ass! about a half hour later i raced his friend who had a viper also and i was getting pretty cocky and he wupped my ASS! i asked him how many horses he was putting out he said about 950! and around 1100lb.ft. torque my jaw dropped i think i might need direct port nitrous what do you think?
