750 hp cien and 225 mph?? u must be crazy i was expecting this thing to whip out 250 mph or so its more than mclaren yeh but u will need more than 880 hp like the corvette sledgehammer to beat the top speed of 254.76 mph baby yeh!

Top speed has more to do with gearing than with bhp. Look at the McLaren F1. With only minor tampering it will go over 240 mph. But the lighter and more powerful McLaren F1 LM is slower, but accelerates MUCH faster. I hope they give the Cien short gears so it accelerates quickly. BTW, 300 mph for a 750 hp Corvette? I don't think so.

doubt what u must i herd it and corvette wud whip it out if they wanted. and u need torque for more and more speed thats why sledgehammer is 3.9 sec 0-60 its all that torque and hp together

is there a video clip of the cien running in the lemans? i wanna see it...if anyone knows where they cud get their hands on one

Don't dream , no clip at LM.

LM isn't a test track , LM track exists only for the official races , the rest of the year , only the Bugatti track is available.
Be aware that the Hunaudières straight , that for stranges reasons Americans call Mulsanne , is an open road over 350 days a year.

I have to say again, why dont you people read? It clearly says in the description below the pictures that the car can SENSE when you are driving around the city or when your trying to speed/race. So the car actually automatically switches from 6 cylinders to 12. 6 to 12, not 8 to 12, not 4 to 12 but SIX TO TWELVE CYLINDERS automatically or on demand. Now as far as the Corvette reaching 300mph with, what was that 720hp? That is very possible. The new Hemi 528 crate motor generates 610hp and 650 lbs. ft. of torque and is capable of going 305mph. So, horsepower is not definately decisive in how fast you will be able to go, the Corvette rumored to have 720hp stock can very well possibly be able to reach 300mph. I wouldn't doubt it but take note, these are SOME of the things that affect the speed and acceleration of the car: Ability of the Driver, Gearing, AVAILABLE horsepower, AVAILABLE torque, are density, air humidity, outside temperature, temperature once inside intakes, temperature of the engine, durabiltiy (includes all engine fluids), road surface, wind resistance, weight, stability, exhaust output, and I'm sure there are many other things aside from those I named. I just got tired of you rookies and kids mistaking horsepower for speed. While they are related, horspower plays only a small role in the performance of a car, there are many other factors that affect performance that you all must realise because I am tired of the ignorance posted on these forums. Also, if there is a article below pictures, why dont you try reading it, you all would be surprised at that. Oh and that stuff is actually true because those articles are written by the respective companies that produce that car, and its edited by sc.net. All sc.net does is take some things out because they feel it isn't necessary. So please, read, and learn, and dont submit ignorant posts.
