Supra or Rx-7 I like Supras better because Rotary engines are known to shit out under high boost where as the Supra's engine comes pretty much bullet proof from the factory. Granted there are exceptions if you manage your engine carefully but generally the Rotoary engines don't last nearly as long when you start to put aftermarket mods on your car.

Supra or Rx-7 i would say the supra because of how strong they are and how many companys have done research on the building up of the motor like JUN who built one up used it on circuit then took it to america for the speed trials and just about broke 450kph. this car was built originaly as a road going race car. 0-300kph just over 21sec while still street legual.

Supra or Rx-7 The supra is a sweet car, it has an awsome engine, you can easily modify it to get 500+ hp, it looks great as long as you replace the stock front bumper (that stock bumper makes the car look like an egg), and I would love to own one. But... I still prefer the RX7 it has the awsome rotary engine, which makes it totally unique. Sure, the rotary engines are know to shit out because the seals in the rotors wear out, but that's no problem. I would love rebuilding one of these engines anyway. Just like the Supra's, these things fly, plus RX7's are around 800 pounds lighter. Also, the lighter rotors server as an advantage in the cars weight distribtution making the RX7 a better handling car.

A Supra, please people, sure you can build one to push 500+ horse, with out NOs theres not much more. I push close to 450 horse with a turbo, I could put plenty more under the hood. Re: Who likes witch better and y? Supra or Rx-7 Sorry to say that the Supra can easily push 1000 horsepower without nitrous oxide. Strengthened internals, an upgraded fuel delivery, ignition, and intercooler, and a conversion to a larger single turbo can easily yeild 700+ hp. With proper tuning and dyno time, and various other additional parts, 1000 hp is commonplace. Having said that, I prefer the RX7. 800+ hp isn't as effective when you have to carry around 800 extra pounds. It's also one of the best handling cars ever!!

Re: Who likes witch better and y? Supra or Rx-7 The Supra is a tight car, yes. But I still prefer the RX7. The I6 Twin JZ that powers the Supra is too heavy for me. It cranks down on the front. Since a Supra is a rear wheel drive vehicle, front weight isn't something you want. Plus the Xeven tears virtually anything in the hairpin and the 90 degree drift. It can take 45's at nasty speeds. As for high maintenence rotaries, Rotaries live just as long if you know how to take care of it. People buy RX7's and they say 'horse power, horsepower, I need horsepower.' And they neglect the fact that motors aren't invicible. Start your motor every day and let it idle for about 5 minutes to keep the rotors in line and kept in shape. Replace your seals every 10,000 miles. Keep the oil good and don't put a T78 single turbo on your stock motor, make sure your internals can take it. Same goes with Nitrous Oxide, don't put a nice 100hp shot wet system mixed with gasoline in with a stock motor, want to go nitro/turbo? Get some nice Apex seals. So there is my testament, RX7s all the way. Chad PS get the CWest non-flip ups. Flip-ups died in the early 90's. PPS Gotta love them Xeven tail lights.

Supra or Rx-7 The RX7 might overheat but that can be fixed with some $$ but if your gonna do that you might as well drop the 20B in it that's ready for racing and will probably not overheat, all you need to fix that is get intake, a front mounted intercooler and some new apex seals and you will never have to worry about any overheating problem again

The styling on the Supra is pretty cool but the RX-7 type RZ is one of the most gorgeous cars I have seen in my life. I think the Rotary engine is awesome. Until a few nights ago I knew very little about it, So I decided to look up some info on it and it turns out that it a very interesting concept.
Re: Who likes witch better and y? Supra or Rx-7 This is a very hard choice... would I rather have a 1993+ Toyota Supra Twin Turbo or a 1993+ Mazda RX-7 Turbo. These vehicles contain the best engines on the market in my opinion and basically match each other in every category. I very much like Inline 6 motors and I would absolutely take a Supra TT with a 320hp Straight 6 over a Pontiac Trans Am with a 325hp (Ram Air Package) V-8 since "V" engines have the "most" moving parts and that isn't neccessarily your friend even thought the average american has the hear "this vehicle is V-8/V-10 powered" for them with their big head and small mind to buy it. from all the posts on here in favor of Rotory it appears that Rotory engines are very nice also. I have seen both of these vehicles driving around my town and the Rx-7 looks like a mini-Viper while the Supra looks like a cheap-Jaguar. I have come to the decision that even though the Rx-7 matches the Supra with remarkably less horse power the Supra has much more interior space being able to seat 4 people instead of the Rx-7's 2 seater arrangement. I have more than 1 friend to pick up most of the time so 2 seats is just not enough for me. I overall like the Supra's exterior styling more than the Rx-7 and the Inline 6 engine has been proven time and again to be very reliable and long lasting with regular maintenance. If I came across an Rx-7 at a price I couldn't refuse yes of course I wouldn't let the offer slide by in hopes of getting a Supra at a later date, but overall I do like the Supra better than the Rx-7.
