    What is wrong with that since GM makes the best truck motor of all the Japanese & American makers. Please don't mention the Dodge Ram they constantly have the tranmissions going bad on them.

    it always had a GM motor from day 1 in the 80s
    6.2 diesel then a 6.5 turbo diesel
    i drove a few in the Army it handles like shyt
    but u cant get it stuck in the mud

    I already knew GM baught Hummer before coming to this thread. Before I found out, I was wondering why the H2 looked so ugly.

    Personally i think hummer has gone down hill with there product ever since GM bought them i mean the H1 was ok for mud but you would not see them going where a jeep would go because of there sheir size but in mud the H1's did really well now the H2 is out it f*ckin sucks at everything i can think of and GM needs to get there act together if they want the hummer name to be known for what the H1 was know for

    Have you ever noticed about 90% of custom cars built have a GM motor?
    I find that kind of interesting. Maybe its because its the best motor you can buy. I dont know thats just my opinion. I do think they should offer a Dura-Max in the coming years.
