  1. They need the tranny from a Pagani Zonda.
  2. or something like this
  3. Except a DB9.
  4. Yeah, a properly tuned GMC probably could in a straight line. But does it seem like I care about who's faster? I believe in build quality, style, and performance (performance doesn't mean I'll win all the time).
  5. 2000HP is too much. 1000-1500 is still usable(somewhat) if you're a good driver, and have the car properly setup. Plus with turbos you can turn the boost down and make less power, except when you need/want it. Then just make one little click on your LCD boost controller and BAAAAAM 1500HP.
  6. Vette fanboys are in confuse mode now
  7. HAHA! so true...
  8. It's yellow by the way, if you had to pick between these 2, for it makes these characteristic rear lights show better
  9. The standard (for MT and R&T, at least) is cone spacing of 100 feet.
  10. i dont think 1000-1500hp is remotely useable unless you have a heck of a lot of electronic trickery and 4wd.

Find me a 1000-1500hp car apart from the veyron that is still remotely useable.
  11. MY CIVIC.
  12. PROVE IT <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/angry.gif"></A>
  13. TEH SUPRA!

Mega turbo lag makes it the perfect around town cruiser.
  14. Why is everyone forgetting about the lingenfelter tuned 427tt? even though the viper has more HP their 1/4 mile times were pretty close...
  15. My post was asking Ferrarista01to try to criticize the LS7 itelf (without using meaningless statistics), because THAT is what was being discussed.

If you want to make comments about the rest of the car, that's fine. But don't try to say it has anything to do with a discussion about the engine.

And if things like power, weight, dimensions, reliablity, and fuel economy aren't the result, please do share with me what is.

Hang on, before you answer let me use my psychic powerS. "OMG THERES MORE TO A CAR THAN THE ENGINE!" Well no shit. But in a car discussion many specific components are talked about, especially the engine. That is what I'm talking about now.
  16. Dude, do you have any idea how many 1000HP muscle cars there are? I've seen a TON of cars that have 1000 or more HP that are driven on the roads semi frequently. Hell I've even seen some that were DAILY DRIVERS. It's not going to be some car you want to take out in the snow or anything obviously, but lots of people have cars with that much power that they drive. If ya wanna throw in Supras and GTRs then there is still more.
  17. 1/4 miles ? hahahaha redneck
  18. Halfway there.
  19. Sorta like the z06's price over the 911 turbo for the same performance. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>
  20. You're saving on the interior, the pedigree, and the build quality.
  21. Im in ur car, recyclin ur plasticz!
  22. *Im in ur car, barfin' at teh intirior!
  23. I'm in ur panel gapz, blastin ur r00fs off
  24. Who really cares? Sure, it's not the fastest thing on the road, nor is it the fastest on the track. It's not the cheapest thing you can buy either. But having driven this fvcker a bit, I could care less if the interior isn't as upmarket as a Porsche or I'll get walked by an LP640. This car has a bunch of bloody charachter and it will blow your brains out without thinking twice. It's the most fun car I've ever driven (not quite the fastest, but close enough), and it costs enough to be affordable to a larger percentage of the population. Its just an awesome effing car.
  25. Everyone cares because we stare at the interior when we drive, can all afford better and expensive cars, and have the driver skill to actually exceed their tested benchmarks. Duh!

BTW, when you are buying groceries, what bags do you use? Paper or Z06 interior?
