1989 Aston Martin Lagonda Series IV
13 years after its debut, the Lagonda was still in production, a testament to its advanced design and individual character. The Series IV received a major styling upgrade that removed the pop-up headlights in favor of six front units. It was among the most expensive cars in the world which ensured that very few examples were ever assembled.

The Series 2 Lagonda that we are exhibiting is an exceptional car. In fact, the car's service manual tells us that this Lagonda was delivered new to Gustave Bongo via Franco Britannic Automobiles to Paris on 19 June 1985. Gustave Bongo was the brother of Omar Bongo, who lived in France, and the cars used by President Omar Bongo in France were registered in his name.
