2002 Irmscher Inspiro Concept
The Inspiro’s body is manufactured completely out of synthetics and permanently connected with the tubular frame. Beneath the synthetic dress is the roadster’s heart, a 3.0-litre Opel V6. Using the help of lightweight construction, Irmscher has made it possible to restrict the weight to 780 kg, which, in connection with the six-cylinder, allows a power-weight ratio of only 4.7 kg/kW.
The engine power is transferred to the rear axel via a fully synchronized, five-speed transmission with a locking differential. A stable braking system with large, internally ventilated disks and four-pot callipers provide the necessary deceleration.
