Hennessey 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 Ford Mustang
Hennessey knows a thing or two about squeezing power out of engines. They also like to celebrate anniversaries too. That’s why for their 25th anniversary they decided to get crazy and release the Mustang HPE800 25 Anniversary Edition.
The 25th treatment will be applied to a number of Hennessey cars, and this Mustang is the first one. We can’t wait to see the rest, because this limited production (only 25 will be built) Mustang conversion is something truly special.
The 5.0-liter V-8 gets a 2.9-liter supercharger with major upgrades to the fuel and the intake system, including heavy-duty injectors, fuel pump, and custom intake ducting. The result is 804 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque. Let that sink in for a second, because that means earth-shattering performance of 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and 207.9mph top speed. Quarter mile is dispatched in a really quick 10.7 seconds at 133 mph.

The exterior gets a menacing body kit and lots of special edition badges. The list of updates is long: the front splitter, rear lip spoiler, 20in wheels, Brembo brakes, and lowered suspension make the HPE800 look the part.
If you want one, you’d better give Hennessey a call soon, as the tuning shop says they will only build 25 units. If you are one of the lucky 25, you can have your new dragstrip weapon in either coupe or convertible form, with either an automatic or manual transmission.
Just 25 will be built, each with a price tag of $99,500. This is a lot of car for the money. Better hurry up then.
