One-of-One Ferrari SA Aperta Heading to Auction

Bespoke U.S.-spec example with rare Grigio Silverstone and Cioccolato interior

The Ferrari SA Aperta is one of the rarest modern Ferraris, with only 80 examples produced. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, it was built as a tribute to legendary designers Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina. This exclusive two-seater roadster is equipped with the same V12 engine and six-speed F1 Superfast transmission found in the limited-production 599 GTO.

Delivering an impressive 661 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm, the SA Aperta offered breathtaking performance—accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 202 mph.

RM Sotheby’s is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire one of these ultra-rare and exclusive Ferrari supercars as part of their Sealed Drop auction on May 26-29. This SA Aperta is a U.S.-market example, originally delivered to its first owner in California before being acquired by its current, second owner. Remarkably, it is believed to be the only U.S.-spec model finished in Grigio Silverstone with a Cioccolato interior, potentially making it a true one-of-one.

Its rare color combination is complemented by bespoke options such as Alcantara carpeting, leather seat backs, Cioccolato leather on the upper dashboard and steering wheel, a heat-insulated windshield, an iPod connection, and parking sensors. Grand touring features include Schedoni fitted luggage and a suit carrier.
