In this drag race showdown, Mat Watson and his team from carwow will be pitting two hypercars, a Ferrari Daytona SP3, and a Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, to see which one is superior on the drag strip. These ultra-expensive hypercars weren’t exactly built for drag racing; you still can’t deny the fact that they have some superb straight-line capabilities.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 producing 840 hp and 697 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and weighing 1,600 kg. Its rival, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 delivering 802 hp and a massive 1,050 Nm of torque.
Despite slightly less power, it benefits from a lighter 1,350 kg weight and uses a 7-speed automated manual gearbox. Both are rear-wheel-drive supercars with removable hardtops, designed to offer open-air thrills alongside raw performance.
