Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this 2014 Pagani Huayra represents one of the rarest modern hypercars, standing among just 100 coupe examples produced between 2011 and 2018. Built to U.S. specifications and originally delivered through Aston Martin of Dallas, the car gained an even more exclusive pedigree after returning to Pagani in 2025 for the installation of the factory Tempesta performance package.
The comprehensive Tempesta conversion significantly enhances both performance and aerodynamics. Upgrades include a lightweight titanium exhaust system, revised Öhlins suspension, forged staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels, and a collection of carbon-fiber aerodynamic components consisting of a redesigned front splitter, underbody panels, and rear diffuser. These modifications were engineered by Pagani to improve downforce, chassis balance, and overall driving dynamics without compromising the Huayra’s signature elegance.
Named after the Aymara god of wind, the Huayra debuted in 2011 as the successor to the iconic Zonda, continuing Pagani’s close engineering partnership with Mercedes-AMG. At its core is a carbon-titanium monocoque paired with chromoly subframes and a composite safety cell, while the sculpted carbon-fiber body incorporates active aerodynamic flaps that continuously adjust to optimize stability, braking, and cornering performance.
Finished in dark blue metallic over exposed clear-coated carbon fiber, this example also features paint protection film, gullwing doors, tricolore-accented mirrors, quad bi-xenon headlights, and distinctive blue-tinted exhaust outlets. The Tempesta forged alloy wheels wear Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, while Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers provide exceptional stopping capability.
Inside, the cabin reflects Pagani’s blend of craftsmanship and engineering. Beige washed leather and dark gray leather cover carbon-backed bucket seats and much of the interior, complemented by exposed carbon fiber and finely machined aluminum trim. Highlights include the iconic exposed-linkage aluminum shifter, a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a premium Sonus Faber audio system. Behind the flat-bottom steering wheel sits a configurable digital display surrounded by Swiss watch-inspired metal instrumentation, including a 260-mph speedometer and a 7,000-rpm tachometer.
Power comes from Mercedes-AMG’s 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged M158 V12, featuring dry-sump lubrication, twin-scroll turbochargers, dual spark plugs per cylinder, and air-to-liquid intercooling. The Tempesta upgrade adds a titanium exhaust system that further sharpens the engine’s character. Output is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through an Xtrac seven-speed single-clutch automated manual transaxle, while pushrod-operated Öhlins suspension—retuned for the Tempesta package—ensures the chassis fully exploits the increased aerodynamic performance.
