RM Sotheby’s will present one of the most exclusive modern hypercars ever built at next month’s Monterey Auction: the 2024 Pagani Huayra Roadster “Executor.” Estimated to sell for $5 million to $7 million, this one-of-one creation is the only Huayra Roadster factory-equipped with a seven-speed Xtrac manual transmission.
Completed in September 2024 and retained by its original owner since delivery, the bespoke roadster has covered just 53 miles. Its defining feature is the exposed aluminum-gated manual shifter, offering a level of mechanical engagement almost unheard of in today’s hypercar segment. Power comes from Pagani’s hand-assembled 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG V-12, producing an astonishing 846 horsepower, making it even more powerful than several of the marque’s track-focused variants.
Pagani has built its reputation on blending advanced engineering with handcrafted artistry. Since its founding in 1992, the company has introduced only three production model families—the Zonda, Huayra, and Utopia—each celebrated for combining lightweight composite construction, meticulous craftsmanship, and innovative aerodynamic technology. The Huayra itself debuted in 2011 as the successor to the Zonda, pioneering active aerodynamic flaps that continuously adjust downforce for optimal stability at both high speeds and through demanding corners.
The Roadster evolved the formula further with a redesigned carbon-titanium monocoque that reduced weight despite its removable roof, proving Pagani’s commitment to engineering refinement. While only 100 standard Huayra Roadsters were produced, followed by limited Roadster BC and Imola Roadster variants, manual-transmission Huayras remain exceptionally scarce. Fewer than 15 manual coupes are believed to exist, while the “Executor” is the sole Roadster built with three pedals.
Commissioned through Southern California luxury dealer O’Gara Coach, the hypercar features blue-tinted exposed carbon-fiber bodywork accented with Indaco Blu and white detailing. Bespoke aerodynamic enhancements include an extended front splitter, front canards, a prominent rear wing, and a sculpted roof-mounted air intake, complemented by satin-finished forged wheels.
Inside, the Black Mamba and Indaco Blu leather cabin showcases exposed titanium and carbon-fiber trim, while the open mechanical linkage beneath the polished aluminum shift gate serves as the focal point. Accompanying the sale are a transparent hardtop, folding fabric roof, and a custom-matched luggage set.
With its singular specification, ultra-low mileage, and factory manual transmission, the Huayra Roadster “Executor” represents one of the rarest and most collectible Paganis ever offered at public auction.
