This 2020 McLaren Senna GTR LM 25 by Lanzante is a one-off version of the track-only Senna GTR, created as part of a limited run of seven LM 25 cars commemorating the 25th anniversary of McLaren’s 1995 Le Mans victory with the F1 GTR chassis 01R.
Built by Lanzante—who ran the winning car—each LM 25 is based on a different McLaren model. This example is the only Senna GTR in the series and has been converted for road use. It is estimated at $2,000,000–$2,500,000 and will be offered at RM Sotheby’s Miami auction on Feburary 27.
The LM 25 cars honor the Tokyo Ueno Clinic-sponsored F1 GTR that won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, McLaren’s debut at the event. The Senna GTR LM 25 features aerodynamic upgrades, a 90-pound weight reduction, and styling inspired by the winning race car, including two-tone grey paint, exposed tinted carbon fiber, and subtle Le Mans references.
Ordered in August 2020, this car received LM 25 conversion and road-legal modifications from Lanzante at a cost of £250,000. It was later serviced by Lanzante, displayed at the 2023 London Concours—where it won the Supercar Day Award—and imported to the United States in 2024 after federalization. The car has had two owners and shows 1,795 miles.
Unique details include etched number 59 markings, Tokyo Ueno Clinic decals visible with the doors open, LM 25-branded carbon seats with racing harnesses, and gold-finished controls. The sale includes tools, spare parts, and a flight case with intercom headsets.
