VIDEO: Lamborghini Revuelto Faces Two Monster Tuners

The results will surprise you!

Mat Watson and the team at carwow assembled one of their wildest drag race matchups yet, pitting the electrified V12-powered Lamborghini Revuelto against two heavily modified street machines: a monstrous BMW M140i and a radically upgraded Audi S3. The goal was simple—determine which machine could dominate both the quarter-mile and half-mile sprint.

Representing factory engineering at its most advanced, the Revuelto combines a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with three electric motors, generating a staggering 1,015 horsepower and 1,062 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through an all-wheel-drive system, helping the hybrid supercar launch its 1,872-kilogram mass despite carrying a price tag north of £550,000.

Its challengers, however, were anything but ordinary. The Audi S3 featured a 3.2-liter turbocharged V6 conversion producing around 950 horsepower and 900 Nm, routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and quattro-style all-wheel drive. Weighing roughly 1,600 kilograms, the Audi packed supercar-rivaling performance for a fraction of the cost.

The biggest threat came from the BMW M140i. Beneath its relatively understated exterior sat a heavily modified 3.4-liter turbocharged inline-six capable of producing between 1,200 and 1,400 horsepower depending on boost settings. Coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive conversion, the lightweight 1,475-kilogram BMW delivered an extraordinary power-to-weight ratio.

The rolling races highlighted the BMW’s immense top-end performance, repeatedly reeling in and overtaking the Lamborghini once boost pressure built. The Audi also proved remarkably competitive, despite battling occasional shifting issues throughout testing.

When the dust settled in the standing quarter-mile showdown, the tuned BMW emerged as the undisputed champion, storming to an astonishing 8.8-second pass. The Audi followed with a 9.9-second run, while the technologically advanced Revuelto crossed the line third in an even 10.0 seconds. The result demonstrated that, in a straight-line contest, raw power and aggressive tuning can still overpower the latest hybrid supercar technology.
