Porsche Brings New Improvements to 911 GTS

Porsche recently introduced five updated 911 GTS models online.

The new lineup consists of a coupe, a convertible, a 911 Targa 4 GTS, an all-wheel drive 911 Carrera 4 GTS, and a rear-wheel drive 911 Carrera GTS.

All models are equipped with a turbocharged, 3.0-liter flat-six engine that produces 450 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque from 2,150 to 5,000 rpm. A seven-speed manual transmission comes as standard option while the dual-clutch automatic will be offered as optional.

The four-wheel drive model equipped with dual-clutch automatic is the quickest of all 911 GTS cars. It can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds. The fastest 911 GTS model however is the rear-wheel drive coupe with manual transmission which can reach speeds of up to 193 mph. Porsche, however, claims that all models should be able to reach speeds of at least 186 mph.

New visual modifications are also introduced to the new lineup though they are not that noticeable. If you compare the new lineup to the old ones, you can see that the 911 GTS has a new front bumper that includes a revised splitter, a 20-inch central-locking allow wheels, smoked tail lamps, and gloss black air intakes. The rear-wheel drive model gets a gloss black trim between the tail lamps, while the all-wheel drive model is fitted with a full light bar.

The interior features sports seats upholstered in Alcantara and black brushed aluminum trim. There is also a new application called Porsche Track Precision incorporated here which allows drivers to record track runs and analyze key parameters so they can get faster.

The new Porsche 911 GTS lineup is expected to be released to the market by spring. Just stay tuned for its pricing information though since it is not released yet.
