This car is not slow man. Sure it doent compare to high end cars, however its faster than half the cars out there, and it weighs 6 times more than a civic hatchback.<!-- Signature -->

  7. Re: Designed in 54, but made in 57, damn they even knew it sucke

Yeah! It sux! It needs an 10" exhaust pipe(or better 4), a large and useless wing and we gotta lower it by 2'.......

What you talking about? It looks so damn cool!<!-- Signature -->

that $7000 is what it use to cost new... not this cars is about as much as a porsche boxter. Only this car goes up in value faster than the porsche with every year... <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

When I drive my old caddy and some punk wants to race me, I just smile back at his girl in his passenger seat who's jocking me. It's not about racing a Cadillac, it's about reaping the benefits of being a Cadillac Mac. Besides, if you drive too fast, the girls don't have time to do a double take! And if I did want to ride a bit fast, the 472 Caddy big block has no problem motivating the beast. 390 HP and 525 pound feet of torque can't be bad.

Seventh that well said comment. Being the owner of a 1951 dodge I cannot say any of the older cars are ugly. They may not perform well but you must look at how old these well made cars are. No one has ever said my car is ugly except a stupid teenager who did not appreiciate anything in life. It is also fun tuning the older cars because there is so much room to install just about any engine combo you can think of. Stock or non stock older cars are great toys because you dont worry about emisions and in my case I have a permanent registration on mine that cost 7 dollars initialy. these things were made of steele not plastic and styrofoam. The frame can withstand some serious output v8's also. Mine initialy had an inline 6 230 cubic inch(about 90 hp and 120 ft lbs) and has been replaced with a magnum crate motor producing 375 ft lbs of torque which the frame has no problem handling. I'm sure it will handle 500 ft lbs of twist without a hint of trouble.

  22. Re: Designed in 54, but made in 57, damn they even knew it sucke

Man if I had the money I would restore every car I see. My dream is to restore a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T (Hemi engine!!!!!!). But you see, I live in Belgium. Taxes for a V-8 are so goddamn' expensive, fuel costs four times more for a gallon then in America. Plus you gotta get a restored car through the car control. Not easy for an American car around here. So it would be a lot of trouble, but i keep hoping, so maybe my dream will come true...

  25. Re: Designed in 54, but made in 57, damn they even knew it sucke

The reason it didn't know that it sucked is because you weren't born yet, and your the only one who thinks it sucks, probably because you can see right!
