Maserati 222 4v

The Maserati 222 4v was very similar to the Maserati 222 SR, but benefited from the use of four valve per cylinder heads with four overhead camshafts, boosting the power output by more than 50bhp.

Wider tyres on 16″ alloy wheels transferred that extra power to the ground accordingly, whilst active electronic suspensions were included in the standard spec. 130 cars were built over nearly three years.
