Main Article: 2005 Monterey Historic Race. In August 2005, Laguna Seca Raceway lit up with the sights, sounds and smell of classic race cars being driven the way they were meant to. Real mechanics, real race car drivers and real (often very expensive) cars racing in all their glory.

The 2005 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is biggest event at Monterey Classic Car Week. The 2005 lineup was full of the Supercar team’s favorite motorsports icons.
