Bonhams Cars has unveiled a standout lineup of rare modern supercars and hypercars set to headline The Miami Auction on May 3. Leading the sale is a unique 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari coupé, expected to sell for $7.5–9.5 million.
Commissioned new by Sammy Hagar, the car is finished in Bianco Avorio—an ivory shade inspired by a 1960s Ferrari prototype—and paired with a cream and black interior. It has very low mileage, remaining under 2,000 miles. The car also features premium materials like Alcantara and carbon fiber, along with a high-end sound system.
The LaFerrari marked Ferrari’s first production hybrid, combining a 6.3-liter V12 engine with an electric motor for a total output of 949 horsepower. Its advanced HY-KERS system seamlessly integrates both power sources, delivering exceptional efficiency, rapid acceleration, and over 663 lb-ft of torque, with the V12 revving up to 9,250 RPM.
Hagar, famous for the hit “I Can’t Drive 55,” is not only a rock icon and former Van Halen frontman but also a successful entrepreneur and longtime car enthusiast. His personal touch is evident throughout the car, from its classic-inspired color scheme to custom interior details, including a plaque marked “SH 10.13,” referencing his initials and birthday.
Originally delivered in California, the car remained with Hagar until late 2024. It received a new battery in early 2024 and has since seen minimal additional use. With its rarity, celebrity ownership, and bespoke specification, this LaFerrari stands out as a highly desirable collector’s piece.
