Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Revuelto Impavido, an ultra-exclusive special edition created exclusively for Japan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini Japan. Limited to just 25 individually numbered examples, the bespoke V12 hybrid supercar blends Lamborghini’s performance-focused design language with visual references to Japan’s samurai heritage.
The name Impavido translates from Italian as “fearless” or “courageous,” reflecting the edition’s central inspiration: Bushido, the traditional Japanese code of honour associated with courage, discipline and unwavering determination.
“Revuelto Impavido perfectly embodies Lamborghini’s ability to unite innovation with cultural inspiration,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “Inspired by the values of Bushido, this project celebrates the dialogue between Italian design excellence and Japanese culture.”
Based on Lamborghini’s flagship V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, the Revuelto Impavido retains the standard model’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 and electrified powertrain, producing a combined 1,015 CV. The result is Lamborghini’s first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle and a new chapter in the brand’s long-running V12 legacy.
The Impavido’s bespoke exterior treatment was developed through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation programme. Its sharp body graphics evoke the motion of a katana strike, while gold detailing references the odoshi cords used to bind the plates of traditional samurai armour.
Additional design cues draw from the maedate, the crest mounted on a samurai helmet, and kozane, the lacquered plates that form samurai armour. These elements have been reinterpreted through Lamborghini’s modern design language, adding a layered, highly detailed finish to the Revuelto’s already dramatic bodywork.
Customers can choose from four exclusive colour configurations, each tied to a specific aspect of samurai symbolism. The gloss options include Verde Campus, inspired by Japan’s national stone, Hisui jade, and Grigio Artis Lucido, inspired by the katana and its associations with loyalty, honour and craftsmanship. The two matte finishes are Grigio Crater Matt, referencing the dark tones of samurai armour and themes of protection and authority, and Rosso Pyra, inspired by Sanada Red and its associations with bravery, strength and discipline.
The gloss cars feature Nero Noctis and Bronzo Oreadi accents, while the matte versions use Nero Nemesis and Bronzo Serse details. Each specification also includes matching-finish exterior paint, graphics and carbon-fibre components, along with Altanero 21- and 22-inch forged wheels in Shiny Black, Bronzo brake calipers and Matt Black exhaust tips.
Inside, the Revuelto Impavido combines Nero Ade leather and Corsa Tex upholstery with Bronzo Oreadi contrast detailing. Bespoke embroidery appears on the seats and roof, while a dedicated Samurai logo and individually numbered “1 di 25” carbon-fibre plaque underline the edition’s rarity.

With only 25 cars being produced, the Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido is less a conventional special edition and more a highly personalised cultural statement, one that brings together Lamborghini’s V12 heritage, cutting-edge hybrid performance and the enduring symbolism of Japan’s samurai tradition.
