This weekend Bonhams had their December sale and split up the famous Ecurie Ecosse collection of Mr Dick Skipworth.
Mr Skipworth started his collection with the Jaguar D-Type which was run by the Scottish team and subsequently purchased many of the Ecurie Ecosse cars, all painted Flag Metallic Blue.
All of the cars were privately owned and managed by Ecurie Ecosse and subsequently have tremendous racing history.
Bomham’s sold the entire collection and fetched some top dollars. See our page for the complete results.
