This 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster, scheduled to appear at RM Sotheby’s Miami auction on February 27, is estimated to sell for $3–3.5 million. It is number 39 of just 100 examples built and features a striking Rosso Dubai finish with extensive exposed carbon fiber. Power comes from a 754-horsepower twin-turbo V12 paired with a lightweight seven-speed sequential gearbox.
The Huayra debuted in 2011 as the Zonda’s successor, named after a Quechua wind god. Its dramatic composite body introduced Pagani’s first active aerodynamics, using ECU- and ABS-controlled flaps to vary drag for stability at high speed and through corners. The V-12 produced over 700 hp in early form, while lightweight engineering—from the gearbox to massive carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes—underscored Pagani’s obsession with performance and artistry.
Unveiled in 2017, the Huayra Roadster represented a true evolution. Power rose to 754 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, while revised bodywork, conventional doors, and a reworked rear accommodated open-top driving. A carbon-titanium tub reduced weight without sacrificing rigidity, making the Roadster lighter than the coupe at just 2,820 pounds.
This example was delivered new through Miller Motorcars in Connecticut with an original price exceeding $3.1 million. Options include titanium-finish wheels and trim, upgraded instrument clusters, front lift system, and a striking two-tone Schedoni luggage set custom-fitted behind the seats.
With only 312 miles from new and single ownership, it remains in near-delivery condition and includes manuals, a removable hardtop, a foldable soft top, battery charger, and a custom two-tone Schedoni luggage set.
