Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2020 Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ Roadster represents one of the most extreme expressions of Lamborghini’s flagship V12 supercar. Produced between 2019 and 2021, the SVJ Roadster was built in approximately 800 examples, combining open-top driving with track-focused engineering, sophisticated aerodynamics, and uncompromising performance.
The Aventador succeeded the Murciélago as Lamborghini’s flagship in 2011 and remained in production until 2022. The SVJ, short for Super Veloce Jota, represented the model’s most performance-oriented evolution, incorporating extensive aerodynamic revisions and weight-saving measures. Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Roadster retained the aggressive styling and technical innovations of the SVJ Coupe while adding removable carbon-fiber roof panels.
Finished in Bianco Isi, this example features contrasting black and gold vinyl graphics, carbon-fiber exterior components, and bronze-finished 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Leirion wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. Its aerodynamic package incorporates Lamborghini’s Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva 2.0 (ALA 2.0) system, which uses electronically controlled airflow channels and flaps to balance downforce and drag according to driving conditions. Enlarged air intakes, extended side skirts, carbon-fiber rocker panels, and a prominent rear diffuser further contribute to its performance-focused design.
Power comes from a mid-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 rated at 759 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 531 lb-ft of torque at 6,750 rpm. A Gintani exhaust system enhances the engine’s character, while carbon-fiber engine-bay bracing contributes to structural support. A seven-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) automated manual transmission delivers power to all four wheels through a Haldex all-wheel-drive system incorporating a limited-slip rear differential.
Lamborghini quoted a 0-60 mph acceleration time of approximately 2.9 seconds for the SVJ Roadster, with a top speed exceeding 217 mph. The chassis features magnetic push-rod suspension, rear-wheel steering, and a front-axle lift system for improved maneuverability over uneven surfaces. Carbon-ceramic brakes with orange-painted multi-piston calipers provide high-performance stopping power.
Inside, heated, power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Nero Cosmus and orange, complemented by carbon-fiber trim, Lamborghini logos, and SVJ branding. Additional equipment includes an Alcantara- and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, Lamborghini infotainment, a Sensonum sound system, automatic climate control, and illuminated door sills.
With its naturally aspirated V12, advanced active aerodynamics, and distinctive open-top configuration, this Aventador SVJ Roadster combines Lamborghini’s traditional mechanical drama with the engineering sophistication of its most focused Aventador derivative.
