Built by Race car builder and driver John and Burt Greenwood in 1982, this is one of only 2 GTO's that were built out of a total of 43 cars from 1975 to 82. The example seen here will be offered at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson car auction.

One of the more successful drivers to use the potent all-aluminum ZL1 engine in the C3 Corvette was John Greenwood. He campaigned cars in both the on the short-track SCCA events as well as the major international endurance races.
