Of all the cars that Gabriel Voisin produced, this striking Demi-Berline (half-truck) is one of the best. It was manufactured by his company Avions Voisin which had built several pioneering airplanes before 1912 under the name Les Frères Voisin. This focus on aircraft was extended to all of Voisin’s cars including four streamlined and aluminum-bodied Laboratoires for the 1923 Grand Prix de Tours.

While Voisin made many unique and interesting cars based on his vast aircraft knowledge, none are as breathtakingly distinct as this C27 Aerosport. With a clever mix of French curves and Voisin's art deco touches, it is one of the most deserving cars to be labeled as rolling sculpture.

Unlike the aero-inspired Voisins that feature flat panel bodies with sharp angles, our feature car has tremendous French curves, the type made for a Concours d'Elegance. So much so, it was good enough to win Pebble Beach even though much of the car's history and providence is totally unknown.
