Between January 6 and 16, 2026, Lamborghini returned to Livigno for the latest edition of Accademia Neve, its most exclusive winter driving academy and one of the most coveted ice-driving experiences in the automotive world. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Italian Alps, the event once again transformed snow and ice into a proving ground where technology, driver skill, and raw emotion converge.
Launched in 2012, Accademia Neve has evolved into a cornerstone of Lamborghini’s experiential program, designed not just to showcase performance but to teach owners and guests how to extract control and confidence from extreme low-grip conditions. The 2026 edition marked a significant milestone, both technologically and philosophically, for Sant’Agata Bolognese.
The undisputed star of Accademia Neve 2026 was the Lamborghini Temerario, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid V8 and a bold new chapter in Lamborghini’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) strategy. Combining electrification with the visceral character expected of the marque, the Temerario demonstrated how hybrid technology can enhance, rather than dilute, driver engagement.
On ice, the Temerario’s instant electric torque, finely tuned all-wheel drive system, and advanced torque vectoring delivered impressive agility and balance. Participants were able to explore the car’s dynamic envelope through controlled oversteer, precise throttle modulation, and rapid transitions, conditions that expose both the strengths of a chassis and the intuition of its power delivery.
Supporting the Temerario was a fleet that perfectly encapsulated Lamborghini’s current DNA: Revuelto, the V12 flagship and technological showcase, blending electrification with a naturally aspirated heart. Urus SE, the plug-in hybrid Super SUV, proving its versatility and performance even on frozen surfaces. Huracán Sterrato, the rally-inspired outlier, purpose-built to thrive where traditional supercars fear to tread. Together, these models allowed participants to experience multiple interpretations of Lamborghini performance, from off-road-inspired aggression to cutting-edge hybrid precision.
At the legendary Livigno Ice Track, guests were guided by professional instructors through advanced control techniques, including understeer correction, throttle-steered oversteer, and high-speed stability on ice. The low-friction environment strips away excess and forces drivers to focus on finesse, making it the perfect classroom for understanding vehicle dynamics.
Crucial to the experience was Bridgestone, Lamborghini’s Official Technical Partner, which supplied custom-engineered Blizzak LM005 premium winter tires. Designed specifically to cope with snow and ice while maintaining responsiveness, the tires played a decisive role in allowing drivers to safely explore the cars’ limits. Bridgestone engineers were also on hand to explain how tire construction, compound choice, and temperature management affect performance in extreme conditions.
Accademia Neve extends far beyond driving. Macron provided bespoke technical apparel, ensuring comfort, mobility, and thermal performance throughout the alpine experience. Sound took on a leading role thanks to Sonus faber, which created a dedicated chalet showcasing its craftsmanship and its exclusive Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition loudspeaker. The collaboration went further with music-curated hot laps, where driving maneuvers were synchronized with bespoke playlists, turning performance into a fully immersive, multi-sensory event. Sonus faber also equipped the hospitality areas and lounge with its Omnia sound systems, alongside in-car audio demonstrations during evening dinners.
Adding another lifestyle dimension, Capita Snowboards revealed a global preview of its latest snowboard, featuring innovative Union bindings and a design inspired by Lamborghini’s aesthetic language, finished in the striking Arancio Egon with a matte effect. Participants stayed at the Hotel Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort, enjoying five-star hospitality, gourmet dining, and moments of relaxation amid the alpine landscape. Travel companions were equally catered for, with access to the Lamborghini VIP Lounge overlooking the track, complete with hot chocolate and local delicacies, ensuring that even spectators were immersed in the brand’s world.
Accademia Neve 2026 reinforced Lamborghini’s vision for the future: electrification not as a compromise, but as a performance multiplier. By pushing its most advanced models in one of the harshest driving environments imaginable, Lamborghini demonstrated that emotion, control, and adrenaline remain central, even as the technology evolves. On the ice of Livigno, every slide, every correction, and every burst of acceleration proved that Lamborghini’s soul is very much alive, now sharpened by electrons, refined by engineering, and delivered in a setting where performance becomes pure exhilaration.
