1995 Acura NSX-T

1995→1997 Acura NSX-T

In 1995 the NSX switched body styles by completely changing to an open Targa-style roof.

Along with the removable roof panel, Honda offered an optional Formula One-inspired sequential SportShift’ automatic transmission.

To compensate for the loss of structual rigidity the roof previously supplied the chassis was reinforced around the sills of the car with 100 lbs of additional material.

The Targa roof was completely removable and for the first couple years of production it was finished only in black.

In 1997 this model was replaced outright by the 3.2-liter version.
