The latest installment of carwow’s drag race series pits two of Italy’s most focused road-legal track machines against each other: the Maserati GT2 Stradale and the Lamborghini Huracán STO. While both are engineered with circuit performance in mind, their contrasting powertrains and personalities make for a fascinating quarter-mile showdown.
The Maserati GT2 Stradale draws inspiration from the brand’s GT2 racing program and is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 640 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the lightweight coupe tips the scales at approximately 1,475 kg.
