Depends of what you budget is but modern watches have for the most pretty standard and not that high quality eta based movements exception made of a few brands which are real manufactures. A vintage Omega Constellation or vintage Rolex Datejust 1601 might do the trick for an every day watch. If you are looking for a chronograph, try to get a vintage zenith El Primero
