1996 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI

In 1996 Alfa Corse prepared a version of their DTM car for the FIA-sanctioned International Touring Car Championship (ITC).

Teams Martini Alfa Corse, JAS Motorsport Alfa Romeo and TV Spielfilm Alfa Corse contested the very expensive season with exotic stops at Suzuka and Interlagos.

Alessandro Nannini was bar far the most successful Alfa Romeo driver, winning seven rounds, but losing many points to retirements.

The new model used a new 2.5-litre 90° V6 that produced around 480 bhp. The body was also modified to include a new A-pillar cover and slight detail differences around the car.
