Nissan got much attention during the release of two tuned 350Zs at the 2002 Lav Vegas SEMA Show.

NISMO originated in Japan in 1984 and is currently responsible for Nissan and Infiniti performance parts. Nismo offers performance parts for current and previous model Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, including the Z, Sentra SE-R and the Infiniti G35.

Both 350Zs are modfied by Nismo with parts that may go on the market. Such parts include a stainless cat-back exhaust system, 's-tune' air filter element and air-to-oil engine cooler help the engine reach 295 horespower. Also included with the engine is a lightweight flywheel and a copper mix clutch disc.

On the Chassis side of things, modifications include the 's-tune' suspension, which features coil springs, shocks and sway bars to enhance handling and road-course durability.

Externally, the Nismo has modifications to the aero kit, which include a new front fascia, side skirts and rear spoiler. Rounding out the package are LM GT-4 road wheels with Yokohama tires.

There are no plans to produce the Nismo 350Z, but some of the parts developed for this concept may become available in North Amercia and Japan.
