In 1999 SLP offered to change any Trans Am Coupe, Convertible or Formula into a Firehawk for an additional $3 990.
The 1999 Firehawk package included: Tuned 327 HP LS1 V8 Composite hood with functional scoops. A new underhood forced-air induction system Stainless steel exhaust system with dual tips. 17x9 aluminum wheels

002 was the last year for Pontiac’s SLP-modified Firehawk, a performance package inspired by, and licensed from, SLP Engineering, an independent tuner with a well-established rep for tweaking Pontiac’s pony car. The Firehawk package added suspension mods and sticky wide rubber on 17-inch wheels, and employed a forced-air induction system that ultimately raised the WS6 engine to 345 horsepower.
