with 3 gears on an auto tranny ill give you that its the best in the world, that must have been some tuff engineerig to squeeze that much power into 3 gear auto
gota wonder if it would be faster with a normal 6 speed manual or something of that sort

actually gearing determines top speed.
the final drive (differential) gearing is the bottom line for both acceleration and top speed. a 3 speed automatic is garbage, it is an overweight dog that sucked sooo much power out of this engine it isn't even funny.
I would estimate with a manual transmission you would get greesier accelleration but the top speed would be far greater maybe up to 225mph. the gearing and weight difference would be an incredible assistance.
best car ever made....not even close! Many cars do far more with far less!
