If it's called the Indigo, why is it red?

    I believe an Indigo is a type of snake (that just happens to be Indigo).

    That still doesn't explain why it isn't indigo (colour). They could have called it the "Python" because of it's crushing performance, although it doesn't have the same ring to it.

    Indigo is a plant. it it used for it dye, which is indigo (or purple/blue).

    Poor Poor Poor fools. It's quite simple. Look at the car, then look at the name of the car, it's a play on words.

    Explanation: This cars design was based on INDY cars. Everything about it sceams INDY. And we all know Indy cars GO fast. INDiGO!

    95.9666% certian the name of the car is based on Indy cars and the word GO.
