Silver Arrow really deserves to be mentioned in automotive history. It was designed and built for the Chicago World Fair in 1933 and surely looked like it was from another decade. Early 30Žs was a hard time to all luxury car manufacturers because of the great depression and this was one way to get publicity and fame.

This was Pierce Arrow's last ditch effort at surviving the depression and it represented their very best (it cost 3 times as much as any other Pierce). The body is classic, one of the most enduring designs ever created.

I think it's even one of the first cars that had the help of a windtunnel to shape its body. Maybe it was Panhard or PierceArrow to be the first.. not sure, but anyway, this is one of the most beautiful cars ever made
