They were most definitely American made cars, made in New York. In the 1930's, the Europeans had but a few companies that were absolutely prolific: Bugatti, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Horch, Maybach, and Alfa Romeo. The US had the luxury car down in spades, with the chart topping Duesenberg J and SJ blowing everything out of the water, and other cars from companies like Packard, Cadillac, Lincoln, Auburn, Cord, Stutz, Mormon, Pierce-Arrow, and others bring out some of the most revolutionary vehicles of their time.

I love the flowing lines of this car. I think I am going to go for a nic little drive and have a look at the factory. Considering I am in Ontario Canada it shouldn't be that bad.
