04 Z06 Vs C6

    They are both almost the same in performance but not by much.

    Current Z06
    0-60 3.9seconds
    1/4mile 11.9seconds
    Topspeed 180mph(est)
    Price 50,000

    C6
    0-60 4.3seconds
    1/4mile 12.6seconds
    Topspeed 186mph
    Price 44,000

    I would probobly say the C6

    C6 if just on looks alone. With the Z51 package, I doubt it's much different then the Z06.

    I would choose the Z06 on this one.

    Overall, I'd rather have the C6 at this point. Looks tighter, is finished better inside, and I generally prefer the liftback body. Stock vs stock, the Z06 should still probably lap faster (although much of that probably comes down to the tires). Top speed on the Z06 is actually closer to 174.

    The C6 actually was proven to also get 0-60 in 3.9 and 1/4 in 12.4 by GMPD (no powershifting BTW)

    The Z06 is really slower than the C5 which has a topspeed of around 176mph? WTF????! i think i will take a C6.

    I think it comes down to gearing, and the fact that the regular coupe version of the C5 is more aerodynamic than the hardtop Z06.

    i have seen a test where the Z06 got 178, they said it was not possible to go any faster,

    C6 Btw.

    Yup, the fastest C5 was an auto with one of those rear gear options.

    The Z06 out performs the C6 in every way. Give me a Z06.

    Z06 if it's the Commemorative Edition, because I love that paint job, otherwise I'd take the C6 Z51.

    If its the Commemorative Edition then I'll take the Z06 but if its the regular Z06 I'll take the C6.
