Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ This one for sure!..... with the 500+ hp engine then. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ Wow, that's roughly 200hp less than the 2.0 liter Suzuki Escudo <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ Yes, but the escudo is a pikes peak car, so that isn't goverened by as many rules dictating the power, also this is about 15 years older than the escudo, so for the technology it's not a bad output. Although a specialist company did make a pikes peak version of this car not that many years ago, and they wanted to race a Stewart ford F1 car in a drag race, but I never found out if it went ahead or who won, anyhow that version had a few hunderd more horsepower than the group B version.
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ approx. 250 actually, I just wanted to use a nice round number, and give the RS200 the benefit of the difference.
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ The Graham Hathaway car was put up against the McLaren F1 when it first came out. The RS 200 was developing close on 600 bhp at this point. It beat the F1 from 0 to 100mph and then back to 0.
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ the RS200-evo's specs: Engine: Type: Turbocharged Inline-4 Displacement: 2100 cc Horsepower: 650 bhp @ ---- rpm Performance: 0-60 mph: 3.0 sec 0-100 mph: 6.9 sec Quarter Mile: 10.9 sec @ --- mph Skidpad: .--g Top Speed: 110-206 mph (depending on gearing)
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ U gotta c the current UK motocross champion with his 700 brake Schumacher F1 car beater. THAT is an RS 200. Looks damn ugly tho
Re: tha special edition haz 500 horses runnin at 175+ Group B cars weren't governed by any rules dictating the power, only displacement was limited, that was part of the reason they were considered too dangerous, and thus the class was axed. The Pikes Peak Escudo originally came out in the early 90's, so it was only about 7 years older than the Escudo.
