Vs Ferrari Enzo

Your slalom numbers don't mean anything. Was the Enzo tested under the samd conditions so you can compare them? No. So there's no point in posting those stats; they tell us nothing. While this Viper kicks ass on the drag strip, it won't stand a chance against the Enzo on the track. This Viper is just a stock Viper with an enormoulsy more powerful engine, but it doesn't mean it can do shit around the track, especially against the Enzo. The Enzo is such a technologically advanced, and it was specifically designed to replicated F1 on the track. This thing doesn't stand a chance.

    the viper would win

Now, what did you just do?

    The Hennessey.

The slalom test quantifies one of the many components of handling:
    stability during radical transitions

"Was the Enzo tested under the samd conditions so you can compare them? No. So there's no point in posting those stats; they tell us nothing"

I think i'm the only one who posted times for the enzo, and those were Estimated times.

But in the new Car and Driver issue, they did test an Enzo:

    Enzo:
    0-60 mph: 3.3 sec
    0-100 mph: 6.6 sec
    Quarter Mile: 11.2 @ 136mph
    Top Speed: (mfr's est) 209mph
    Skidpad: 1.05
    70-0 braking: 151 ft

    800TT:
    (street tires)
    0-60 mph: 3.2 sec
    0-100 mph: 6.6 sec
    Quarter Mile: 10.71 sec
    Top Speed: (est.) 235+ mph
    Skidpad: 1.06
    70-0 braking: 143 ft

"This Viper is just a stock Viper with an enormoulsy more powerful engine"

So the 800TT out-skidpads and out-brakes the enzo, and according to you it does it with no suspension mods.??

Actually the 800TT has a enormously powerful engine, but its' suspension mods. include:

    Slotted 13-in. rotors
    Wilwood six-piston calipers
Adjustable Penske coil-over shocks w/ Eibach springs

    That's probably why it does:

    skipad: 1.06
    slalom: 75.1
    70-0 braking: 143 ft

(also The skidpad tells you not only the cars outer limits of handling, but also its controllability as those limits are reached.)

"This thing doesn't stand a chance"

    Look at the specs. posted.

The 800TT can out accelerate, out skidpad, out brake, the Enzo.

On a track that basically would mean:

The 800tt out-brakes the Enzo into a turn
    corners better in the turn
and out-accels out of the turn
And on the straight aways, beat the Enzo with the higher top speed.

    Nuff said?

  7. Re: Vs Ferrari Enzo

so viper 1426 you posted all that 2 say that the Viper Beats the Enzo in the long run...?

  8. Re: Vs Ferrari Enzo

I don't know what you mean by, the long run.

I'm saying that given all those stats, the 800TT would beat the enzo in the 1/4, and possibly on the track.

  10. Re: Vs Ferrari Enzo

Yes, it does take a lot to prove some wrong.

If you notice in the post, i quoted him on all his points, and proved all of them wrong.

But i'm sorry some posts are long, i know you're illiterate most of the time. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

    Re: Vs Ferrari Enzo

That's probably not the best article to post, considering in it they tested it horribly, at 4.5 to 60. And like a 12+ 1/4.

When MT tested it at 3.9 to 60, and 11.7 in the 1/4.

A better thing to post would've been:

    http://members.aol.com/Pdl2thmdl/table1.html

Motor Trends 97' high speed gamble, where the viper beats every car on the road course, including a 911T and Ferrari 355.

Also, in the 2003 MT comp. an srt10 came second to a mosler on a figure 8 track (like MT says, the smallest road course, testing all aspects of a cars handling still)

There the srt10 beat a lambo. and ferrari.

    Re: Vs Ferrari Enzo

    It's a Shelby Cobra for the 90s.

And implying "european wannabe" are you saying it wants to be a euro car b/c its' not as good??

Because the car has beaten porsche 911 turbos and ferrari 355s, lambo murcialago, and ferrari 575s on tracks.
