actually it looks like a the same Mercedes-Benz 5.5 litre they put in the 600 models.

I was thinking that it was a Mercedes-Benz V12 when I initially saw it. After someone mentioned the older BMW V12, that got me thinking and now I'm just totally confused. The "bi-turbo" terminology being put on an engine with a 720hp figure, however, sounds like an MB to me. I dunno. The engine looks kinda old either way.

The intake manifold looks like the one off the older BMW V12 from the 8 series. Also similar to the 5.4L V12 in the older 740i
