i dont think thats what he ment by destroying cars, however id have to agree with both of your points, one... they shouldnt destroy cars like this especially after that concept brought in 3mill at Barret Jackson. and second the Aztec should be destroyed.
I just bought a new Pontiac Solstice GXP and after seeing the 1954 Bonneville special I can see where they got the round lines and the shape of the fenders from on my Solstice The tail lights on my solstice are a bit like the 59 Corvette so a lot of the designs of the new cars come from these dream cars of long ago.
